about

Cloud Factory is the first full-length release from Grey Sky Symphony, a music project started by singer-songwriter, Dillon Hutyra. Plans for the album began towards the end of Dillon's high school career, when he wrote the songs "You're My Favorite Color" and "The Storm" for his old band, Forum. During his first year at college, he reformed his musical efforts into Grey Sky Symphony and began seriously working toward a full- length album. The entire album was recorded and produced with a home studio rig that grew as the project advanced. Tracks for the album were recorded everywhere from bedroom closets to a university recital hall.

Track Name: Cotton Candy Clouds
I need to turn my head around
I need to get up off the ground
I want to taste some of those
cotton candy clouds up in the air

I've got to stop wasting my time
I need to get outside the lines
you've got to look before you find,
but I'm already there

and it is killing me
how far we seem to be

well look up, look up the sky is changing
and come back, come back I'll be here waiting
and you can hold on, hold on, hold on to me
and I see, I see that you're still standing
well look now, look now our plane is landing
but you're the only light that I see

I need to know that I can breathe
that there's a heart inside of me
write me a song and I will sing
loud and crystal clear

I'm spinning round and round again
all of my colors slowly blend
this isn't how it's 'sposed to end
or is it my dear?

cos I can't tell a grey
from a black so far away
and you can't seem to stay
just give me one chance to say

well look up, look up the sky is changing
and come back, come back I'll be here waiting
and you can hold on, hold on, hold on to me
and I see, I see that you're still standing
well look now, look now our plane is landing
but you're the only light that I see

take my hand and we will fly
into the clouds up in the sky
we know the sun will light the way
I couldn't ask for a more perfect day
Track Name: The Loser
I have nothing left to lose
you say that's no surprising news
and I know that the pain is just beginning
the fade out leaves my thoughts all spinning

Hold on, we need not say farewell
it hurts much more than you can tell
and I fight to keep my heart from breaking
the cold night leaves my body shaking

spin my head round and round
put me back at the start now
tell me I'm the one to blame
and I'm a loser at a winning game

Listen, the silence setting in
when will I see your face again?
uncertain, and time is simply stalling
it worsens and now I think I'm falling

I'm falling, I'm falling, I'm falling...

spin my head round and round
put me back at the start now
make believe we're still the same
but I"m a loser at a winning game

can someone tell me why
people tend to die
before they ever reach the grave
a broken heart can't mend
when you lose a friend
and watch them slowly fade away
to fade away

spin my head round and round
put me back at the start now
make believe we're still the same
but I'm a loser at a winning game

I'm a loser at a winning game
I'm a loser at a winning game
I'm a loser at a winning game
yes I'm a loser at a winning game
